Little Bruiser

Kyndal fell today. She is fine, but we had a little scare. We were standing in the driveway getting ready to leave and I guess she turned and tripped and fell on her forehead. She screamed for 10 minutes and had quite the knot on her head. I called the doctor and they told me what to watch for. Her swelling has gone down quite a bit, but she will have a nasty bruise. Our driveway is aggregate, so I know it hurt! Here is a picture, it really looks worse in person. BTW, she was fine and playing again after 10 minutes of screaming, no need to worry.

Funny Girl

Here is Kyndal at Walmart yesterday. She thought it was funny when she would throw the ball down and I would catch it. This is from my phone, so the quality stinks. It is the sound that is important.

Molars

So I found out today from my hygienist friend that the first molars come before the canine teeth. So I felt in Kyndal's mouth and I found that a molar had already come through and she is working on the second molar because I can see it and she has been chewing her finger on that side. That means she is working on her 10th tooth. As Quincy would say "I cannot believe it." If you don't know who Quincy is, you are missing out on Kyndal's favorite show, "Little Einsteins".

Halloween Festivities

I guess Bret and I are kind of into Halloween. You might think Kyndal is too young to trick-or-treat, but my motto is "If they can walk, they can trick or treat." Kyndal actually had her first lollipop yesterday, she would say "ummm" as she ate it. We have had a lot of activities this week. Monday we had a Halloween party with our Mom's group.

All of the kiddo's gathering for some candy.

Two little lady bugs, Lola and Kyndal

Mommy and her cute little lady bug.

We carved our annual jack-o-lanterns on Halloween eve. Daddy's on the right, mine in the middle and Kyndal's on the left. We waited until Kyndal went to bed to carve them though.

Last night we dressed up and headed to the mall to eat and do a little trick-or-treating. The mall is a great place to go! Daddy put on his Charlie Brown shirt, remember the costume from last year, LOL! I put on my kitty kat ears and tail and painted my face a little. We made our way around a few stores and then headed home.

Robin, Cody and Emma met up with us at our house to hit the neighborhood a little. Here are the partners in crime the little lion and the little lady bug.

Here is Kyndal with all of her loot after we settled in for the night and continued to give out candy to the trick or treaters. Doesn't she look happy!
