Look Ma, one hand

Kyndal has been pulling up and loves to stand holding on to the coffee table or anything that is the right height. We can barely get her to sit, she stiffens up her knees and we can't sit her down, LOL! Tonight she even let go of the little stool that I have and stood by herself for a couple of seconds before she took hold of the stool again. Then she realized that she can balance if she leans her belly up against the stool and her hands are free. I will have to try to get a picture of that tomorrow. In the meantime here is one of her standing holding on with one hand. She is too funny.

Here are a couple of other cute pics.

Second week home with Mommy

I can't even express how wonderful it is to be home with Kyndal. I haven't missed work one little bit, how could I when I get to be home with such a wonderful little girl. We have yet to be bored, there is always plenty to do. We started the baby reading hour at the library last Friday. It was so much fun, Kyndal waved her arms and got so excited when they were dancing and singing songs. She loved watching all of the other kids. This week she spent time with Miss Susan and Lauren while Mommy did a portrait session and went to the dentist. Today we went to the YMCA and Mommy started a new dancing exercise class called Zumba. Next week we have lunches planned with some Friends. We get to see Daddy at lunch-time on most days and have dinner ready for him when he gets home. It is just wonderful. Kyndal's newest things are saying Ba, Ba, Ba. We are trying to turn that into Ma, Ma or Da, Da, but haven't had a whole lot of luck. She is also clapping her hands and just about mastered feeding herself with that pincer grasp that you saw her using in the Pea picture. No crawling yet, but she sure can get around. She rolls just about everywhere she wants to go or sometimes rolls to her side and pushes with her feet to scoot.

The eyes have it

I am forever trying to capture the beauty of Kyndal's blue eyes, yet photographs do not do them justice. She has her daddy's eyes.

Quick Photo Session Today

I had the studio set up from my last session so I took the opportunity to take a few of Kyndal in the spring set-up.

Easter at the Aune's

Here are a few snaps of Kyndal and her Easter baskets....

She loved the Easter Eggs, especially the orange one. Is Daddy chanting "Big Orange" in her sleep or something? Is it just in her blood? Who knows, it is not her Mommy's doing we know that much.

She loved the tags on all of her toys better than her toys, go figure?

Isn't she cute?

Yummy Easter grass, good thing Mommy didn't buy the plastic kind.

Kyndal really getting into things, including her Easter bag.

Kyndal is 7 months old today, and it ain't no April fool's joke!! I picked up some props today at Walmart and tried them out with her.
