Splashing in the Pool on Memorial Day

Mommy has been really busy proofing about 600 pictures from a recent wedding and then having two more park sessions from the weekend to proof with two more sessions coming up in the next two weeks, but here is a quick blog. We got Kyndal a little pool on Memorial Day. I just couldn't wait to get her a baby pool. Here are a few pictures of her enjoying it, doesn't her hair look red! Kyndal's 9 month doctor appointment is Friday, so I will blog again then. I can't believe she is almost 9 months old.

Cruising & Moving Up

Big news... Kyndal is cruising and Daddy is moving up.

For those who don't know what cruising is, it is walking around by holding onto furniture. Well that is the milestone that Kyndal is at now. She still doesn't crawl, we think she is just skipping that. She will cruise along the coffee table and if we have our legs up on it, she will cruise holding on to our legs to get to the couch.

The other big news is that Daddy got a promotion. He is now manager of his group. This is a big step and we are so proud of him. Boss man Bing...uh I mean Bret. (My sister Tami will get that, or you Friends fans)

Other things Kyndal is doing. She will give kisses when you ask her (when she wants to, she has the Aune stubborn streak LOL!!). Anyway if you say give kisses she will plant a wet wide open mouth on you and even hold your face, it is so cute. She is pretty much on table food now, aside from her formula, and she does great with a sippy cup. She can even drink through a straw.

Another Milestone...

Kyndal has been pulling up on our fingers for several weeks now and other various things. Basically if something is the right height and she can wrap her little fingers around it, she would pull up on it. She has been pulling up on her crib for about two weeks. But today she hit a bigger milestone. She has the leap-frog learn around playground and she has been trying with all of her might to pull up on it. It is a little higher than some of the other things she can pull up on and doesn't really have something for her to wrap her fingers around. We normally have to help her get up on it. So today I sat her in front of it on the floor and went in the kitchen to clean up dinner dishes and she was pretty quiet so I checked on her and there she was standing up. She did it all by herself!!! She is growing up so fast! Here is a picture of her playground.

Kyndal's Mother's Day gift to me.....

Today was my first Mother's Day with my beautiful baby girl. She gave me the best Mother's Day gift, she started saying "MaMa". She did it first thing this morning when Bret got her out of the crib. The crib was in the room with us because we were at Bret's mom's house. She said it again at breakfast and then several more times today. She is the greatest. She also gave me another gift that was great, she went back to sleep after getting up at her usual 6:30 in the morning. So I got a couple more hours of sleep. The third gift I got with the help of her Daddy is a ring with her birthstone. Her Daddy is the greatest too.

Kyndal's first baseball game

We took Kyndal to her very first baseball game last night, our AAA team, the Nashville Sounds. Kyndal had a great time watching the people, clapping when everyone else clapped and just being at the game. Daddy even bought her a Ozzie the mascot hat, maybe next time Ozzie will autograph it for her. I am sure this is just the first of many baseball games for Kyndal.
