Finally getting excited

About what you ask.... our new house!! I know we have been in it for several weeks now, but honestly it has been hard to get excited about since our other house has not sold. We took a bit of a risk because the market seems to be really horrible for sellers, we knew it was a risk and Bret and are are totally not risk takers! We have prayed a lot! We know God has a plan and we have prayed through this whole process and had a peace about buying this house. Our nervousness and stress has been with the other house. We knew it would sell, we know God does things in his own time, but that is a hard pill to swallow sometimes no matter how long you have been a Christian. So now that I have said all of that, WE GOT AN OFFER ON THE OTHER HOUSE!!! We got an offer, countered yesterday, at it was accepted today. It took about 8 weeks and we know it doesn't close until it closes (as our realtor would say), but I can say my excitement and emotions have changed so much just today. PRAISE GOD!

Also, it dims in comparison, but I got a new camera. I am exited about that, so I took a few pictures to show everyone a little more of the house. I will take inside pictures when I clean up some of these toys that STILL spill out into the living areas! Oh, and the business is going better than ever. 6 sessions last week, my most ever. I am making the first mortgage payment on the new house from my business money. We have a ton to be thankful for. Oh, back to the camera thing. With my new excitement and new camera, I took a few pics.

The outside, I know you have seen it in a prior post, but that was not taken with my new camera!

Our view, okay not the mountains, but beautiful to us none-the-less. I think we have the best view in the neighborhood. We can see this from our front porch from our bedroom window.

Part of Bret's deck, newly sealed with a honey gold tint.

And for good measure as Bret would say, a couple of Kyndal. One being a good Mommy taking care of her baby in the stroller. Shew as a little distressed when the stroller went rolling down the driveway, good thing Mommy was there to catch it.

Kyndal hanging out on the front porch, this is one of my favorite things. I loved my covered porch at the other house, so it is nice to still have a small one while Bret still gets his deck. I like hanging out with Kyndal waiting to see Daddy's truck come up the street on his way home.

New Contact Information

Well apparently it wasn't enought for us to just change our address, the phone company MADE us change our phone number after having it for 8 years. Then we decided to free ourselves from the bondage of Comcast and went to Dish Network, so our email addresses that we have had for the past almost 8 years have also changed. I didn't send out emails to everyone with the new info, but basically the email address have a dot bellsouth dot net ( .bellsouth.net) extention. The old phone # will give you the new phone #, or email me and I will give it to you.

Also... sorry for being a bad blogger. I hope you all understand how crazy it has been for us. Plenty of blogs are coming soon.

Updates....

I will try to keep this as short as I can....

I took Kyndal back to have her ears checked today. She was so good! She let them take her temperature and look in her ears and then use some other device in her ears with-out one single tear or me having to hold her down. The doctor and I were both amazed, but it is not a good thing because it just means that they have had to look in her ears so many times she is finally getting used to it. The verdict is that her infection is gone but she still has fluid (they had to use another device to check for fluid). The doctor and I both think that she may have allergies since her eyes water a lot and her stuffiness has not gone away. So until we can get in to see and ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor),we are putting her on Zyrtec to treat the allergies, it may be a month before we can get in to see the ENT.

We are finally getting settled into our new home. The old one is still for sale and we are going to do some final work on it tomorrow and drop the price a little bit. Please pray that it sells quickly. The moving is done except for the garage and the attic, and boxes are getting unpacked here. It is finally starting to look like a home instead of a storage place.

Kyndal loves it but was stressed for a day or two. She is back to sleeping good and this morning came into our bedroom when she woke up like she used to do the other house, the last couple of days she just stood in her own room until we came for her.

Kyndal's room is painted a really pretty green and stuff will be going up on the wall soon. We bought her a new comforter for her toddler bed. She got a new playhouse that her Nana and Papaw Kennedy brought for her a couple of weekends ago. I will take pictures soon.

Things are coming along. Will update again as soon as I can. I better run get some things done while the little girl is napping.

Cute Kyndal

Here a few pictures from today...

We took a walk in our new neighborhood for the first time, it was a beautiful day and such a peaceful walk and a lot less traffic than our old neighborhood.

Milestones

One is great.... one not so great....

I was getting ready to leave this morning and went back to get Kyndal her juice. When I went back in the garage she was picking up pieces of shredded paper and saying.... "six"...."seven"..."eight". The rest of the day she counted things... saying "one".... "two"

And the not so great one..... I couldn't get the VCR to work tonight. Why was I using the VCR you ask.... well I found some tapes and wanted to see what was on them before I threw them out. Anyway, after several attempts Bret asked if Kyndal had put something in it. I couldn't see anything but after reaching in I found a AA Battery. I think it is more disturbing that my daughter was carrying around a battery with-out me knowing than actually putting in the VCR. We all know this day would come, at least it wasn't a peanut butter sandwich.
